Named after two of the Gemini constellation's brightest stars Castor and Pollux, Kas & Poly shines its inventive take on rustic and hearty Mediterranean cuisine with its extensive menu of salads, savory mains, pasta, pizza and sandwiches at the center of BGC. Clearly, the stars were in perfect alignment that day... 



Your dining experience at Kas & Poly begins with a complimentary basket of fresh-baked bread and Mediterranean-inspired dip opening up the palate with its comforting notes. Tucked away in the corner of 9th Avenue and 30th Street, Kas & Poly comes from the same group behind Brunch Bureau showcasing their creative spin on traditional Mediterranean, Greek, Turkish, Spanish and Italian cuisine with a modern and playfully inventive style. One of the more unique dining establishments in BGC, Kas & Poly's infusion of celestial influences brings a no-borders approach to flavors anchored on traditional Mediterranean cuisine. 


The day's freshest catch of Braised Clams & Mussels (P 695 Small/P 1,380 Large) brightens up a cloudy and rainy afternoon in BGC with its bold yet clean and unrestrained briny sweetness. Plump and succulent mussels and clams simmered in white wine and topped with garlic, microgreens and parsley drapes the palate with its lingering fresh and sweet notes. Served with lightly crisp ciabatta, the flavorful richness of the broth is perfectly mopped up by each dip of the ciabatta releasing even more flavors with every bite. And on a cloudy afternoon like that day in BGC, Kas & Poly shifts the weather patterns with its rendition of bright and vibrant flavors in a bowl. 


For the main course, the Tuscan Roast Pork (P 620 Small/P 1,110 Large) is a sumptuous feast in itself with slabs of butter-like roast pork belly that just melts in your mouth with each bite. The wine-roasted pork belly infused with Italian herbs, seasonings and spices brings a deep and pronounced burst of savory richness made even more intense by the sauce. 


The fresh medley of delicately charred vegetables and roasted potatoes adds a layer of subtle sweetness to the dish while the cranberry sauce brings a contrasting tart finish for complex yet balanced flavors. It's dishes like this that never fails to warm your palate even on a cloudy and rainy afternoon.
