The inspiration behind the impressive growth of Paradise Dynasty is drawn from the countless travels of the Paradise Group's CEO, Mr. Eldwin Chua, taking his palate to explore and experience the richness of China's traditional cuisine. Soon, Paradise Dynasty established itself as a major culinary force in Singapore's competitive culinary market and eventually expanded its reach throughout the region. In 2016, Paradise Dynasty arrived in Manila and local diners experienced an iconic classic updated with a masterful contemporary twist (for more on Paradise Dynasty, see my earlier posts, Paradise Just Got A Whole Lot Closer: Paradise Dynasty Opens at The Podium on my first experience with their signature dumplings, Noodles and Dumplings...at Paradise Dynasty on some of my favorite dishes, Noodles and Dumplings...Back at Paradise Dynasty on one of my frequent visits, First Dibs of Paradise Dynasty's Limited Edition Chili Crab Xiao Long Bao on their seasonal variations and Let's Do Noodles and Dumplings at Paradise Dynasty on more of my personal favorites).

From its elegant branch at S' Maison in Conrad Manila, local diners experienced a taste of their signature xiao long bao while a second and third location opened at SM Aura and The Podium. Paradise Dynasty was well on its way in becoming one of the metro's popular restaurants. Paradise Dynasty offers a tasty glimpse of imperial cuisine along with specialty dishes from the northern and southern parts of China. But no dining experience at Paradise Dynasty is complete without their signature soup dumplings...
Through the panoramic glass windows of Paradise Dynasty's spacious kitchens, diners can enjoy an inside look at the intricate process in creating their signature xiao long bao...
...each one meticulously prepared by hand using the freshest ingredients. Paradise Dynasty maintains the authenticity of this traditional delicacy while exploring new and refreshing expressions of the soup dumpling in ways that excite the palate forever hungry for something different.
Paradise Dynasty's mastery of the soup dumpling is highlighted with its eight internationally flavored xiao long bao with flavors like Ginseng, Crab Roe, Foie Gras, Black Truffle, Cheese, Garlic, Szechuan and the Signature Original. It's this blend of tradition and authenticity infused with a modern approach that elevates the xiao long bao experience at Paradise Dynasty.
Traditionally, xiao long bao is enjoyed with a dip made with soy sauce, rice vinegar and sliced ginger but the internationally flavored creations does not require any sauce at all. A nip and a bite releases bold flavors draping the palate with a savory richness. A delicate pouch filled with intense flavors, it's what built Paradise Dynasty. That's the Paradise Dynasty experience that's endeared it to countless local diners for three years.
But Paradise Dynasty is more than just dim sum and dumplings. Paradise Dynasty takes on a flavorful journey with their lavish Chef's Creations (available at The Podium branch) like their Deep-Fried Duck with Steamed Bun topped with strips of garden-fresh greens and a generous dab of Hoisin sauce. The dish is conveniently assembled by the staff into individual buns, all you have to do is pick one up and go for a big bite.
The Chef's Creations at Paradise Dynasty also include savory seafood dishes like the Grilled Gouper with Tofu in Ma Po Tofu Style, an elegant feast with whole grilled flaky white fish slathered with tofu cubes in a thick and rich sauce with hints of peppers. You can also opt for their equally flavorful Grouper with Pine Nuts and Fruit with deep-fried fish doused in a sweet and sour sauce topped with crunchy pine nuts and tart fruits for multiple layers of flavors.
The Shanghai-Style Braised Pork Belly is another absolute must-try at Paradise Dynasty, with fork-tender slabs of juicy pork belly covered in a thick caramelized sauce served with bok choy. The richness of the pork is perfectly tempered by the sweetness of the sauce for both balance and depth. Enjoy it with a bun or fried rice, this Shanghai-Style Braised Pork Belly is up there on my list of favorites (for more on Paradise Dynasty's signature Chef's Creations, see my post, Four New Dishes and Four More Reasons to Visit Paradise Dynasty).
But it's the popular xiao long bao that will have you going back to Paradise Dynasty again and again...
...with their Signature Original, internationally-flavored variants and their limited edition seasonal soup dumplings. Add the Chef's Creations and their repertoire of noodles and other savory dishes, Paradise Dynasty will continue to be a popular dining destination for many more years yet to come.
