The Eat-All-You-Can Teppanyaki at Diamond Hotel's Yurakuen is a feast like no other, but it can be overwhelming. You need the right strategy and game plan to fully enjoy your teppanyaki experience at Yurakuen...

The plan is simple. Start with the seafood before the grilled meats, and add in the vegetables and Japanese-style fried rice and you'll get to experience the full range of Diamond Hotel Manila's savory offerings with Yurakuen'sEat-All-You-Can Teppanyaki. Ready? Here we go...

Diamond Hotel Manila's Yurakuen never fails to impress, from its elegant interiors, panoramic floor-to-ceiling glass windows and ornate trees made of sparkling crystal. At the special Teppanyaki section of Yurakuen, diners can enjoy the ultimate teppanyaki feast in luxurious semi-private glass enclosed rooms where the freshest seafood and premium beef, lamb, pork and chicken are masterfully grilled right in front of you (for more on Yurakuen, see my earlier posts, Firing Up the Teppanyaki Grill at Yurakuen's Eat-All-You-Can Teppanyaki from last year, Playing with Fire: Eat-All-You-Can Teppanyaki at Yurakuen from two years ago, and Paradise Found: A Culinary Haven for Japanese Cuisine at Yurakuen on their signature a la carte dishes from 2016).

Like having your every own private and exclusive chef, your preferred choices of seafood, vegetable and meat are prepped and grilled right in front of you on the special teppanyaki tables. But it's the impeccable service that make Yurakuen special and memorable beginning the minute you enter and take your seat.

The special teppanyaki rooms at Yurakuen can get filled up fast, so it's best to make a reservation online or via phone. With a reservation booked in advance, you're led to your table by the staff. At the table, the special sauces are set for sushi and sashimi, grilled vegetables, seafood and meat.

The Eat-All-You-Can Teppanyaki at Yurakuen also includes a selection of refreshing bottomless beverages including their signature Iced Tea and fruit juices (L). Start with Yurakuen's Sashimi, Sushi, Makizushi, Temaki Sushi, soup and salads to kick off your teppanyaki feast...

...but remember not to go overboard as you still have a full teppanyaki buffet. For starters, go for the Flying Fish Roe Sushi and the Crab Stick Salad paired with a soothing bowl of Seaweed Soup. Our chef for the evening prepped the teppanyaki grill, firing it up and grilling our first seafood course for dinner.

Plump and succulent US Scallops meet the sizzling hot teppanyaki grill...

...releasing a fresh, briny and fragrant aroma. The addition of butter, spring onions and garlic add to the aroma, and anticipation builds for that first bite.

After just a few minutes, our chef served the seared scallops on our plate, fresh from the grill. The soft and buttery scallops delivered clean notes complemented by the nutty hints of garlic and sharpness of the spring onions for balanced flavors. The flavors are delicate yet rich, with the lightly seared sides adding texture with every bite.

After the US Scallops, it's time for the Tiger Shrimps. Our chef lays the fresh shrimps on the grill, adding butter, spring onions and garlic. The sizzling sounds tease the palate...

...satisfied with that first bite. Each bite delivers an audible snap followed by a briny sweetness capped by the butter, garlic and spring onions for fresh flavors. The garlic butter combination adds layers of richness to the shrimps, and this is gone in no time.

For the next course, the strong fatty flavors of Mackerel hit the teppanyaki grill. Simply seasoned with salt and pepper and a squeeze of calamansi, our mackerel is ready.

Topped with garlic and a drizzle of butter, the Mackerel's distinct flavors come through. For purists, salt and pepper are all you need as it sizzles on the grill. But some butter and garlic just intensifies the flavors. Other seafood options include White Meat Fish, Tuna, Salmon and Squid.

In between bites, the Assorted Vegetables with enoki mushrooms, shiitake, carrots and spinach finished on the grill is an excellent side to your teppanyaki feast at Yurakuen. Rice? Choose from the Seafood Fried Rice (L), Beef Fried Rice and Mixed Fried Rice, prepared as you order right on the teppanyaki grill.

After the seafood, it's time for some beef. Yurakuen's US Beef Top Sirloin, US Beef Tenderloin and Grilled Beef Shabu-Shabu are prepped for the teppanyaki grill...

...grilled to a medium rare doneness with a juicy pink center. And this is where Yurakuen's Eat-All-You-Can Teppanyaki really shines. Each juicy bite drapes your palate with a savory richness, kicked up by the sharp and tart sweetness of the special dipping sauce.

The lean yet fork-tender US Beef Top Sirloin packs quite a flavorful punch...

...while the US Beef Tenderloin and Grilled Beef Shabu-Shabu complete the all-beef feast.

And the best part? You can enjoy unlimited rounds of premium beef, as much as you want.

We end our second round with some juicy Chicken Thighs fresh from the grill. Other savory options include the US Beef Short Ribs, Baby Lamb Chop and Pork Tenderloin.

But you're not done yet. A final round of US Scallops ends your Eat-All-You-Can Teppanyaki feast at Yurakuen...

...followed by a scoop of Black Sesame Ice Cream...

...and Green Tea Matcha Ice Cream. Start with the seafood, followed by beef, pork, lamb and chicken and repeat.
