Seafood or Pork? Why not have both...
And my craving for seafood and pork ramen leads me back to Go-en Ramen (for more on Go-en Ramen, see my previous post here).
Start with Go-en Ramen's O-Gyoza (P 250), soft, chewy and crisp pan-fried dumplings stuffed with ground pork and minced vegetables...
Then, the first bowl of ramen arrived, the Go-en Ramen (P 350), the chef's very own creation with seafood and vegetables in a light yet flavorful broth, with squid, hosomen, cabbage, carrots, naganegi, negi, and moyashi topped with prawns. The blend of seafood and vegetables combine for fresh and clean flavors, rounded out by the mild notes of the refreshing broth. Light yet satisfying, the Go-en Ramen should satisfy your seafood craving, but if you're up for another bowl...
...there's Go-en Ramen's classic Shoyu Ramen (P 350), a traditional style ramen with hosomen, nori, menma, naganegi, naruto, ajitsuke tamago, and smoky pork chashu in a dark soy-based broth. The deeper, darker color of the shoyu soy-based broth delivers richer and more intense flavors, pairing well with the delicate and mildly smoky notes of the tender pork chashu. The Japanese marinated soft-boiled egg completes the flavors, adding that layer of richness to cap the dish. Seafood and pork cravings? No worries, Go-en Ramen is just a short drive away...
