The milestone event in trade relations between Thailand and the Philippines was held at Mango Tree Thai Restaurant, recognized by the Ministry of Commerce of the Royal Thai Government with the prestigious Thai SELECT seal of approval for authenticity. Mr. Ronnarong Phoolpipat shared the event's two-pronged objectives of promoting Thai rice and its high quality as well as solidifying trade relations with the Philippines. "The Thai Rice Market Promotion Event has successfully showcased the excellence of Thai rice and strengthened our trade relations with the Philippines. We are committed to continuing our efforts in promoting Thai rice and ensuring its availability in the Philippine market," added the Director-General.
At the event, the momentous ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Thai rice exporters and Philippine importers ushers in a new chapter in trade relations between the two countries, ensuring continuous growth and mutual benefit in the blossoming rice trade. The formal agreement also strengthens Thailand's commitment to providing high quality Thai rice to the local market while fostering stronger economic ties.
Mr. Ronnarong Phoolpipat also recognized leading Filipino rice importers during the Thai Rice Market Promotion event, further reinforcing ties and trade relations.
