A familiar name returns offering the comforting cuisine that warmed our palates years ago, and just in time too. As the metro gradually and cautiously opens up with the easing of quarantine restrictions, Jones All Day Bistro & Bakery at Serendra Plaza is ready to welcome you back with their sumptuous breakfast, brunch, lunch, snacks and dinner offerings with the same vibe and flair in true Jones style. After the successful launch of Farmer's Table in Tagaytay, Raintree Hospitality Group along with restaurateurs Annabella and Martin Wisniewski and Corporate Chef Kalel Chan brings back the good times, good vibes and great food with their newest bistro, Jones All Day Bistro & Bakery. 


Casual comfort food with a refined elegance and unrestrained approach to flavors has always been the culinary style of the unique restaurant by the Raintree Hospitality Group, shaking up the metro's culinary scene many years ago with the original concept. Now, diners can relive all those flavorful memories with Jones All Day Bistro & Bakery. Inside the spacious interiors of Jones All Day Bistro & Bakery at Serendra Plaza, diners will immediately feel at home...

Diners are greeted with the fragrant aroma of freshly baked bread at the entrance while the calming and subdued palette of warm pastel tones takes you far away from the mad rush of the busy commercial and business district. 


Like all its dining concepts, Raintree Hospitality Group weaves the setting with its cuisine in a seamless and harmonious blend for a sumptuous dining experience. Jones All Day Bistro & Bakery also brings back that relaxed and casual character the brand was known for years ago...


...updated with a refreshing culinary style by Raintree Hospitality Group Corporate Chef Kalel Chan. The playful weave of real flavors using the finest and freshest ingredients comes into play with the first of several dishes served that day...  


...with the Shrimp Aguachile (P 320), a refreshing starter with succulent shrimps, sweet cucumber, the mild sharpness and bite of red onions finished with the spicy, tart and sweet hints of jalapeño sauce... 


...paired with crisp tortilla chips. The dish brings both contrasting flavors and textures with each bite, enjoyed by topping the thin tortilla chip with fresh shrimps and the medley of vegetables. That first bite is announced by an audible crunch followed by the briny sweetness of the shrimps completed by the fresh and clean notes of fresh vegetables.


That first burst of fresh yet bold flavors calls for a second and third round, don't you think? But Raintree Hospitality Group Corporate Chef Kalel Chan has even more tasty surprises up his sleeves at Jones All Day Bistro and Bakery.


The Chicken Liver Paté (P 350) offers deep and rich savory flavors with the paté's dense and smooth consistency melting in your mouth like butter releasing even more indulgent notes. Paired with a sweet and tart apple onion umeboshi chutney that tempers and cuts through the savory richness of the paté, each bite is a burst of delicately balanced bliss. Served with hot mustard, pickles and warm and crisp fruit & nut bread baked fresh daily, the Chicken Liver Paté is another must-try savory and tasty starter at Jones All Day Bistro & Bakery.


A casual brunch takes on a festive and lavish vibe with the impressive Jones Seafood Tower (P 1,295), a massive feast with the day's freshest catch including plump oysters, shrimp cocktail, mussels, salmon, tuna and uni sashimi, coctel de mariscos, spicy tuna dynamite and fresh citrus, corn tortilla chips, saltine crackers and nori complete the dish. Each component combines for a memorable fresh seafood feast at Jones All Day Bistro & Bakery...


...with the top tier offerings of succulent Shrimp Cocktail and Coctel de Mariscos bringing fresh flavors to the palate. The fresh and plump shrimps deliver a rich briny sweetness with a fresh snap while the tart Coctel de Mariscos brings the distinct flavors of prawns, fish and squid draped in a sharp and vibrant Bloody Maria Sauce with fresh lime, cilantro and avocado served with corn tortilla chips in an epic seafood combo. 


The bottom tier includes slabs of fresh tuna and salmon sashimi and a shot filled with decadent and creamy uni as well as fresh mussels on ice. It's undoubtedly an indulgent bounty of succulent seafood. 


Dip the fresh shrimps in the special cocktail sauce for that contrasting yet balanced finish of clean flavors and sharp burst of tart notes...


...or head for the large and plump oyster with its rich briny sweetness. Add a few few dabs of Tabasco Hot Sauce for some soothing heat. Or better yet, do what Chef Kalel does with an insider tip. Add a few dabs of the special vinaigrette from the Shrimp Aguachile on the oyster and experience real freshness at its simplest, uncomplicated yet elegant best. 


And there's more from the Jones Seafood Tower. Add a generous spoonful of the Spicy Tuna Dynamite on a thin and crisp piece of nori...


...along with a piece of crunchy tortilla chip topped with some creamy uni and you can stay all day at Jones All Day. Aptly named, the casual bistro with its all-day dining repertoire of culinary offerings will have you settled in with its warm embrace in no time. It's home, right here at Serendra Plaza. 


Change up the pace with a sumptuous and comforting bowl French Onion Soup (P 295) topped with melted cheese and served with crusty sourdough toast. Dunk the sourdough deep into the cheese crusted bowl for a flavorful taste of a classic. The sweetness of the onions in rich beef stock and the creamy finish of the cheese combine for a comforting reunion of nostalgic flavors. 


In between bites, why not graze on some healthy and refreshing salads? Jones All Day Bistro & Bakery offers four tempting salads like the wittingly named homage to baseball's greatest, Thai Cobb (P 595), the Jones Vegan Bowl (P 575) and the Caesar Luxe (P 450), but it's the specialty Bistro Salad (P 450) with its tasty assortment of crisp arugula, apple shreds, Gorgonzola, Pecorino, candied walnuts and red onions slathered in Berry Balsamic that wins my palate with its playlist of converging contrasting notes and textures enjoyed in one bite. From the sweetness of the apples to the mild bitter bite of arugula, the sharpness of the red onions and the bold flavors of creamy Gorgonzola and Pecorino layered with the sweet nutty notes of candied walnuts capped by the tartness of the Berry Balsamic dressing, what's not to love? 


Breakfast all day has always been the familiar calling card of the brand, and Jones All Day Bistro & Bakery takes breakfast to the next level with their specialty dishes like A Really Good French Omelette (P 425) with soft and fluffy omelette filled with spinach herb labneh blanketed in smooth Herb Hollandaise and served with a side salad, griddled tomatoes and sourdough. Masterfully executed, the silky smooth texture of the omelette drapes the palate with a buttery richness followed by the fresh and distinct notes of the spinach and herbs. The creamy hollandaise brings that elegant finish to the dish. A really good French omelette? Absolutely. 


A popular bestseller from the past is recreated with the Mr. Jones' Filipino Breakfast (P 350) offered in choices of Mr. Jones' Tapa, Garlic Amadeo Longganiza or Crispy Smoked Bangus with garlic rice, two cage-free eggs, atchara and fresh orange. For me, it's always been the Mr. Jones' Tapa. And this dish just takes you back to a place and time when things were simpler and uncomplicated. It always hit the spot then, and it still does. Jones All Day Bistro & Bakery offers ten savory and sweet breakfast all-day options, so come hungry.


Break bread with the sumptuous line-up of sandwiches using house-made specialty bread at Jones All Day Bistro & Bakery with the Smoked Pepper Turkey Reuben (P 695) with slabs of tender and juicy brined chicken topped with purple kraut, aioli, pickles, melted cheese and whole grain mustard on toasted marble rye. The delicate notes of the chicken are kicked up by the bold flavors of the sauerkraut and whole grain mustard mellowed by the melted cheese. Complex and richly layered with upfront flavors, the Smoked Pepper Turkey Reuben is just one of many sandwich options at Jones All Day Bistro & Bakery like the Open-Faced Truffled Egg Salad (P 395), Croque "Ma" Jones (P 395), Cheeseburger Supreme (P 495 Single/P 650 Double) and the PBB or Plant-Based Burger (P 550) for a healthier yet tasty alternative. 


The fork-tender Steak Frites (P 795) with juicy US Beef draped in garlic parsley butter sauce and sides of house salad, griddled tomatoes and crisp fries is another savory option at the top of my list of go-to dishes at Jones All Day Bistro & Bakery. Grilled to medium rare with a juicy pink center, the robust and flavorful punch of the beef is perfectly complemented by the garlic butter sauce for a double dose of savory richness. 


The sides of house salad and griddled tomatoes completes the dish. Jones All Day Bistro & Bakery offers a sumptuous selection of Bistro Plates to satisfy any craving, including the Crispy Fried Whole Pampano (P 750), Truffled Mushroom Whole Chicken (P 695), Jones Schnitzel (P 595) and Sizzling Szechuan NZ Lamb Ribs (P 795) in addition to their 10" Stone Fired Pizzas and House Made Handkerchief Pasta selections.


If you're still craving for seafood, an additional order of the Coctel de Mariscos (P 595) also featured on the top tier of the Jones Seafood Tower does the trick. The freshness of flavors just cleans the palate, and going for another serving becomes automatic. 


Pair your meal with soothing libations at Jones All Day Bistro & Bakery like the Clean & Green (P 220), a refreshing smoothie with sweet mango, spinach, lychees and coconut water...


...and the Rosemary Grapefruit Soda (P 250) with grapefruit, soda and house made rosemary syrup. The line-up of fresh-squeezed non-alcoholic beverages at Jones All Day Bistro & Bakery like Matcha Chia Fresh Lemonade, Freshly Squeezed OJ and Young Coconut, Thai Basil and Lemon are just some of many tempting options to cleanse the palate.

The Classic Aperol Spritz also pairs well with the soon-on-the-menu Osyters Escargot, a new dish by Chef Kalel Chan featuring baked oysters with garlic butter and parsley on a bed of salt. The subtle sweetness of the escargot and the rich nutty notes of the garlic butter come together for another memorable highlight to our dining experience at Jones All Day Bistro & Bakery. A novel spin on the traditional escargot using oysters, Chef Kalel has another winner with this one. 


One day just isn't enough at Jones All Day Bistro & Bakery with its extensive menu. The Crispy Brioche French Toast (P 295) is one sweet temptation not to be missed. Pillow soft, buttery and dense brioche baked in house and crisped up for that French toast finish, the classic dish is transformed with their specialty brioche. Layers of flavors from the three-berry compote, toasted almonds and creme fraiche conspire for sinful indulgence on a plate.
