With the advent of Lent, summer's just around the corner. And here's a cool headstart on summer with Sebastian's Ice Cream...
The cool breeze of February slowly gives way to summer, and Sebastian's Ice Cream is ready to cool you down at Vertis North. With their innovative range of ice cream flavors, Sebastian's Ice Cream never fails to impress and surprise. This February, Sebastian's Ice Cream adds their own spin to Valentine's with quirky flavors to add to your old favorites...
...like the Butter Pecan, Macadamia White and Chocoholics Anonymous for a winning Triple Combo Cup (P 165) at Sebastian's Ice Cream. But why not be adventurous and try something different...
...like Sebastian's Ice Cream's Sapin-Sapin, an inventive take on the native delicacy with coconut, jackfruit, ube, kutsinta kakanin and crunchy latik. The colors alone are a visual cue to the rich and comforting flavors of the traditional layered glutinous rice and coconut dessert. Reinvented and transformed, it's always a must-try at Sebastian's...
The velvety smooth texture replicates the familiar flavors of the local sapin-sapin with the crunchy latik to complete the indulgent dessert. It's the creative deconstruction of flavors that give Sebastian's a cool edge highlighted by other playfully inventive flavors like the Green Mango & Bagoong, Champorado at Dilis, and Once in Blue Moon with blue cheese. It's flavors like these that keeps Sebastian's on everyone's radar.
For the month of February, Sebastian's offers its Valentine's-inspired flavors like the Matinong Boyfriend (P 125), an indulgent blend of sweet cream ice cream and strawberry sorbet with a pound cake ribbon for the ladies.
The gents get their own flavor too for Valentine's with the Matinong Girlfriend (P 125) with chocolate ice cream, bittersweet chocolate coated potato chips, and burnt sugar marshmallows. Other wittingly-named Valentine's flavors include a ginger tea ice cream called Closure (P 115), and Unresolved Issues (P 95)...
...a unique sorbet made with bitter gourd and candied ampalaya for a refreshing bittersweet treat. And it works. Just how they come up with flavors like these makes you wonder what they're churning out next. Then, you can always go back to the tried and tested Up All Night, a luscious coffee ice cream with coffee chocolate chunks and espresso fudge ripple.
But there's more. Like the Salted Egg Yolk (P 135) with all the flavors you love in salted egg recreated with an elegant and velvety-smooth finish. Just amazing.
At Sebastian's branch in Vertis North, you can also enjoy Grilled Sandwiches like the Grilled Dulce de Leche (P 65), Grilled Chocolate (P 85), Grilled PB & J (P 85) and Grilled Nutella (P 115) and enjoy it ala mode with sweet cream or ice cream, simply add P 40.
Or go all-out with Sebastian's Dipped Banana Split (P 385). That day, we go for bananas dipped in peanut butter sprinkled with peanuts and three scoops of Sebastian's signature flavors topped with candy sprinkles, whipped cream and a cherry. You can customize your own banana split with Sebastian's many tempting options, from banana dips (including bananas dipped in ube) to ice cream and toppings. Five years since it opened, Sebastian's continues to impress and surprise. So go ahead and fast-forward to summer with a quick stop at Sebastian's in Vertis North...
